東沢バラ公園

Higashizawa Rose Park spans 7 hectares and contains over 20,000 rose plants representing 750 varieties from different countries across the globe.

The park opened in 2002 and received recognition from Japan's Ministry of Environment for its contribution to the national Fragrant Landscape 100 Selection program.

The park features the Murayama Rose, a locally developed variety that represents the horticultural achievements of the region's gardeners and botanists.

The garden operates from March through November, with peak blooming periods occurring in early June and late September, while winter months remain closed.

Three lakes within the park grounds create reflective surfaces that mirror the rose displays, doubling the visual impact of the floral arrangements.
