Higashi Hirao park

Higashi Hirao Park is a large sports facility in Fukuoka with various amenities for different activities. Besides playing fields, swimming pools, and tennis courts, there is also an archery range that serves visitors of all ages.

The facility was founded in 1989 to provide Fukuoka with modern sports venues open to the public. Today it is best known as home stadium for soccer club Avispa Fukuoka, which helps draw visitors to the site.
