Kayoichō Park, Public park in Kasuya, Japan
The park spans around the Kayoicho Pond, featuring a 4.2-kilometer walking path surrounded by 700 cherry trees and extensive recreational facilities.
The park contains one of the three major historical ponds of Chikuzen region, which has been a significant water source for the local community since ancient times.
During the annual YOSAKOI Kasuya Festival in October, 3,000 dancers gather at the park to perform traditional and modern Japanese dance routines.
The park operates from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, offering 140 parking spaces and convenient access from JR Chojabaru Station within a 10-minute walk.
The rose garden showcases 2,400 roses of 180 varieties, including two exclusive types bred specifically for Kasuya: Kasuya no Sato and Lake Kayoicho.
