Mount Monomi, Mountain summit in Higashimatsuyama, Japan
Mount Monomi reaches an elevation of 118 meters and features a 1.73-kilometer climbing path with a vertical gain of 77 meters from base to peak.
The mountain has become a recorded cycling destination with over 88,000 registered attempts by more than 5,400 different individuals on its designated segments.
From March through May, Mount Monomi displays 40,000 azalea flowers, leading to the organization of an annual Azalea Festival with local products.
The mountain area includes parking spaces for 38 vehicles, restroom facilities at both the parking lot and the base of the stairs, plus vending machines.
The mountain serves as a natural gateway to the Saitama Peace Museum, combining outdoor activities with educational opportunities in the same location.
