Akita Bridge

Akita Bridge crosses the Maruko River with separated pedestrian paths lined by flower beds and street lamps. The structure provides views of the riverbanks and connects different parts of Omagari's street network.

The bridge was built to improve transportation connections across the Maruko River and became a key link in Omagari's infrastructure. Its construction supported the urban development of this district in Daisen City.

Throughout the year, residents gather at Akita Bridge during local festivities and community events, making it a central point for social interactions.

Access is easy from the nearby Ugoyotsuya station on the Tazawa line, and the Hanabidori shopping street is within a short walk. The bridge is accessible to pedestrians throughout the day under normal conditions.

The bridge is one of only three main river crossings in Omagari. Travelers can observe seasonal changes in the landscape and riverbanks from its length.
