Dojiyama Park

Dojiyama Park is a public park and museum in Nishiwaki that combines green spaces with exhibition areas. It features walking paths, maintained gardens, and buildings for educational programs, all creating a single destination for recreation and learning.

The park was established after World War Two when Japan began rebuilding public spaces across the country. Its creation shows how the nation brought together educational and recreational purposes to help communities recover and grow.

Inside the park stands a Foucault pendulum installation that makes Earth's rotation visible through its continuous motion. This physical demonstration is a rare feature found at only a handful of public locations worldwide.
