Gunma Civic Hall, Music venue in Maebashi, Japan

Gunma Civic Hall is a multipurpose hall in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture, with a large hall seating 1,997 and a small hall seating 499. The building has a light gray facade with an upper band of eight tall, narrow window recesses projecting over the lower section, and red "Beisia" signage on the left.

The hall opened in 1971 as Gunma Prefecture's largest performance venue, designed by architect Shinichi Okada. Its site was previously the Gunma University Faculty of Education campus, where the song "Akai Hana Shiroi Hana" spread nationwide in the 1960s. In 2009 Beisia bought the naming rights, and from 2022 use was reduced to the main hall and attached rooms.

The hall is named Beisia Cultural Hall after the Beisia supermarket chain bought the naming rights in 2009 for five years at 50 million yen. The site was previously the Gunma University Faculty of Education campus, where the Showa-era song "Akai Hana Shiroi Hana" spread nationwide from the students who sang it in the 1960s.

The hall stands in Maebashi, not Takasaki; the Hungarian source places it near the bus terminal of JR Maebashi Station. Since April 2022 only the main hall and its attached dressing rooms, rehearsal rooms and exhibition rooms are rented out, and the smaller rooms only together with the main hall. Advance reservations for fiscal 2025 are suspended while the prefecture reviews the building.

The site was the Gunma University Faculty of Education campus before the hall was built; in the 1960s students sang the Showa-era lyric song "Akai Hana Shiroi Hana" here, and it spread from this ground nationwide.
