長者原遺跡, Archaeological site in Hita City, Japan

The Chojahara archaeological site reveals ancient settlements through excavated ditches, pits, and numerous artifacts from different historical periods.

Archaeological investigations conducted from January to March 2006 uncovered Hajiki pottery, Sueki ceramics, and Yayoi period artifacts indicating continuous habitation.

The excavated materials at Chojahara provide evidence of early Japanese pottery techniques, settlement patterns, and social organization during multiple time periods.

Located at 2-6-1 Tajima in Hita City, the site maintains detailed documentation through reports published by the Hita City Board of Education.

The site contains specific structural elements including two drainage channels and nine distinct ground pits that demonstrate ancient construction methods.
