Nariwa Museum, Art and biographical museum in Takahashi, Japan.

The Nariwa Museum features exhibition spaces designed by architect Tadao Ando, incorporating concrete structures that integrate with the natural surroundings of Takahashi.

The museum, established in 1953, holds the distinction of being the first municipal art museum in the Okayama Prefecture region of Japan.

The museum exhibits Western-style paintings by local artist Torajiro Kojima alongside ancient Egyptian artifacts from his personal collection.

Visitors can access the museum via a 15-minute taxi ride from JR Bitchu-Takahashi Station, with operating hours from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

The museum collection includes fossils discovered in the Nariwa region, documenting prehistoric periods dating back more than 200 million years.
