Ryūshō-in

Ryūshō-in is a Buddhist temple in Kanie built in traditional Japanese style with wooden structures, landscaped gardens, and a statue of Kannon. The temple grounds include spaces designed for prayer and contemplation within a calm setting.

The temple joined the Owari Thirty-three Kannon pilgrimage route, linking it to a network of other sacred sites across the region. This connection placed the temple within a broader spiritual tradition followed by many visitors.

Kannon, the deity of compassion, is honored here through visitor donations and prayer practices that reflect everyday Buddhist devotion. People come to light incense and make offerings as part of their personal spiritual habits.
