鹿兒島市民文化Hall第一會館, Concert venue in Yoshijiro, Kagoshima, Japan.
Kagoshima Citizens Cultural Hall is a performance venue with three separate auditoriums designed for different types of shows and events. The largest hall seats roughly 2000 people and includes a spacious stage suitable for orchestras, theatrical productions, and major concerts.
The cultural center opened in 1983 as a new performance venue for the city. Between 2006 and 2008, the stage equipment in all halls underwent significant modernization and upgrades.
The facility includes special rooms dedicated to presenting sister cities from Japan and abroad, fostering international cultural connections through exhibitions and events.
The building offers parking spaces for visitors and is served by city bus routes with stops directly outside. Getting from the bus stop to the entrance takes just a minute on foot.
In December 2019, the venue established a naming rights agreement with Kawasho House, leading to its current operation as Kawasho Hall since April 2020.
