鹿兒島市民文化Hall第一會館

The Kagoshima Citizens Cultural Hall contains three performance spaces, with the main hall featuring 1,990 seats and a stage measuring 20 meters wide.

The cultural center opened its doors on February 6, 1983, and underwent major stage equipment renovations across its different halls between 2006 and 2008.

The facility includes special rooms dedicated to presenting sister cities from Japan and abroad, fostering international cultural connections through exhibitions and events.

The venue offers 371 parking spaces, and visitors can access it via city buses that stop directly in front of the building, one minute from the entrance.

In December 2019, the venue established a naming rights agreement with Kawasho House, leading to its current operation as Kawasho Hall since April 2020.
