Hongan-ji Kagoshima-betsuin, Buddhist temple in Kagoshima, Japan.
The temple features traditional Japanese architecture with a spacious main hall containing carpeting, chair seating, and an altar adorned with gilded carvings.
After facing suppression during the Satsuma regime, when 140,000 followers were arrested, the temple resumed operations in 1876 following the Meiji Restoration.
