いたばしボローニャ絵本館, Picture book library in Itabashi-ku, Tokyo, Japan

The Itabashi Bologna Children's Picture Book Museum displays picture books from around the world across multiple reading spaces designed for young visitors and families. The facility includes collections of art books and educational materials that serve both children and teaching professionals.

The museum was established in September 2004 as part of the Itabashi City Library system. It was created to promote international children's literature and picture books in the community.

The library holds about 30,000 picture books in roughly 80 languages from about 100 countries, many donated by the Bologna Children's Book Fair office. It also runs the Bologna Book Fair in Itabashi and the Itabashi International Picture Book Translation Award, a translation contest.

The library occupies the first floor of the Itabashi City Central Library in Heiwa Park, on the same floor as the central library's children's corner. It is a 7-minute walk from the north exit of Kami-Itabashi Station on the Tobu Tojo Line, or 3 minutes from the Kyōiku Kagakukan bus stop on Kokusai Kogyo buses. Books are read on site.

The core of the collection comes from donations by the Bologna Children's Book Fair office: roughly 30,000 picture books in about 80 languages from around 100 countries, all readable on site. The library also runs the Itabashi International Picture Book Translation Award.
