Masada Soccer Ground, Soccer training ground in Higashi-ku, Japan
Masada Soccer Ground is a soccer training facility in Higashi-ku, Okayama, Japan, with three full-size pitches, two laid with natural grass and one with artificial turf. The south side of the complex has viewing areas where visitors can watch activity on the fields.
Work on the facility began in January 2012 following a supporters' petition that helped push the project forward. It officially opened on April 1, 2013.
The ground is home to Fagiano Okayama Football Club, a team with strong local support in the Okayama area. Fans often come to watch training sessions from the viewing areas on the south side of the complex.
The facility sits outside central Okayama, so getting there by car or a planned trip works best. Since it is a professional training ground, it is worth checking access conditions before visiting, as it is not always open to the general public.
Before this facility opened, Fagiano Okayama had to train at scattered locations around the region, which made managing the team's daily routine much harder. Having one dedicated place changed how the club could plan and run its day-to-day operations.
