Masada Soccer Ground, Soccer training ground in Higashi-ku, Japan
Masada Soccer Ground is a training facility with three fields: two with natural grass and one with artificial turf, each measuring 105 by 68 meters (353 by 223 feet). The complex includes viewing areas on the south side.
Construction began in January 2012 and the facility officially opened on April 1, 2013 following a campaign where supporters gathered signatures for the project. The completion ended the need for the team to use multiple scattered locations.
This training facility is home to Fagiano Okayama Football Club and plays a central role in the local sports community.
The facility is located about 15 kilometers from Okayama Station and 7 kilometers from Otara Station on the Ako Line. Being a professional training ground, it operates on a dedicated schedule and may not be open to casual visitors during all times.
Before this facility opened, the team had to split its training activities across multiple scattered locations throughout the area. Consolidating everything into one place was a major step forward for the organization and its daily operations.
