富田林市農業公園, Agricultural park in Tondabayashi, Japan
Savor Farm Agricultural Park is a 20-hectare space with gardens, fruit orchards, and vegetable fields that lets visitors experience farming activities firsthand. The site combines different growing areas with learning spaces and family facilities throughout the grounds.
The park began in 1993 to support farming and build connections between city and countryside communities. This founding purpose continues to shape how the space operates today.
The space keeps traditional Japanese farming methods alive through hands-on activities, where visitors harvest seasonal vegetables and pick fruit directly from the plants. These experiences help people understand where their food grows and how farmers work through the seasons.
The park is outside the city center and reachable by public transport or car. Visitors should wear comfortable clothes and shoes since most activities happen outdoors and paths go through gardens and fields.
The Magic House greenhouse displays tropical fruits that do not normally grow in this region. Next to it, the Adventure Fort includes playground equipment mixed in with learning areas, creating an unexpected combination.
