Utsunomiya Fairy Museum, Art museum in Utsunomiya, Japan.
The Utsunomiya Fairy Museum occupies the fifth floor of Omotesando Square, displaying fairy-themed art exhibitions, ceramics, and paintings throughout its galleries.
The museum started its operations in July 2007 after artist Kimie Imura contributed a collection of fairy-related artifacts and artworks to establish this specialized institution.
The museum exhibits combine traditional Japanese folklore elements with contemporary artistic interpretations through various mediums including stained glass works by Yoshitaka Amano.
The museum welcomes visitors free of charge from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily, except for the first Monday of each month and during New Year holidays.
The collections feature works by international authors such as Oscar Wilde and Cicely Mary Barker, presenting fairy literature and art from global perspectives.
