JP Tower Nagoya, Modern skyscraper complex in Nakamura-ku, Japan.
JP Tower Nagoya is a large skyscraper with 40 floors above ground and three basement levels situated directly beside Nagoya Station. Inside, visitors find connected office spaces, retail shops, banking services, and information display systems spread throughout the building.
The structure was completed in 2017 by the architectural firm Nihon Sekkei, marking a turning point in Nagoya's central business district development. Its construction was part of a broader modernization effort around the station area.
The tower blends Japanese design traditions with contemporary forms, creating spaces where offices, shops, and public areas coexist naturally. Visitors notice this mixture as they move through the building and see how different functions share the same structure.
The building connects directly to the station through underground passages, making it straightforward to arrive without going outside. Visitors can navigate easily between different areas thanks to clear orientation systems throughout.
The tower houses 39 elevators to manage vertical movement, a system regularly tested to ensure smooth operation. Beyond this, it also serves as a central hub for bus operations across the wider area.
