安國寺, Buddhist temple in Naha, Japan.

The temple exhibits traditional Ryukyuan architectural elements with curved roofs, decorative carvings, and stone foundations near downtown Naha.

Founded during the reign of King Shotai of the Ryukyu Kingdom, this Rinzai sect temple maintains its original structural features from that period.

Monthly meditation and yoga sessions within the temple grounds connect visitors with traditional Buddhist practices and local spiritual customs.

Located 18 minutes on foot from Shuri Station on the Yui Rail line, the temple welcomes visitors daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The temple grounds contain specialized meditation areas where practitioners conduct ceremonies combining Okinawan and Buddhist traditions.
