Kosugi no Ōsugi, Ancient cedar tree in Sakegawa, Japan.

The Kosugi no Ōsugi cedar tree reaches a height of 20 meters with a root circumference measuring 6.3 meters in the Yamagata Prefecture.

Throughout its thousand-year existence, this cedar tree has remained a central figure in Sakegawa village, where the local population maintains its preservation.

The tree acquired the nickname Totoro Tree due to its physical resemblance to the character from the animation film My Neighbor Totoro.
