南相馬市馬事公苑, Equestrian park in Minamisoma, Japan.

The Minamisoma Equestrian Park spans 28 hectares and features multiple riding facilities, including a 1000-meter track and indoor training areas.

The park opened in 1995 for the Fukushima National Sports Festival equestrian competitions and reopened in 2015 after recovery from the 2011 earthquake.

The facility maintains strong connections to the Soma Nomaoi, a traditional horse-based ceremony that continues for over 1300 years in the region.

The park operates from 9:00 to 17:00, except Mondays, offering horse riding experiences and maintaining facilities for 300 cars and 28 buses.

Former racehorses find new purposes at this facility through programs managed by the Soma Relief Squad, established by the 33rd lord of Soma clan.
