Jingumae Tower Building, Commercial skyscraper in Harajuku, Japan
Jingumae Tower Building is a 23-story commercial structure positioned at the corner of Takeshita Street and Meiji Street, housing office floors and retail outlets throughout its height. The building combines modern workspace design with interior features that incorporate natural stone and custom glass work.
Construction began in 2005 and the building was completed in 2017, with Taisei Corporation and MHS Planners overseeing the project. This development added contemporary office infrastructure to the rapidly evolving Harajuku district.
The interior design draws inspiration from Togo Shrine and Meiji Jingu Garden, incorporating natural elements through stone materials and designer glass installations.
The building is easily accessible from several nearby train stations with multiple entry points for visitors and workers. Different floors contain shared facilities and meeting areas designed for professional use.
From upper floors, the building offers views toward Yoyogi Park and, on clear days, distant glimpses of Mount Fuji. On the opposite side, windows overlook the surrounding urban landscape of the district.
