安穏寺, Buddhist temple in Setagaya-ku, Japan
Located at the intersection of residential streets, Annon-ji Temple features a main hall housing Buddhist statues and religious artifacts.
The temple underwent reconstruction after its main hall collapsed during a storm in 1885, with rebuilding efforts completed in 1925.
Annon-ji Temple represents the 41st stop along the Tamagawa 88 Temple Pilgrimage route, following traditional Japanese Buddhist customs.
The temple grounds include stone lanterns, memorial stones, and a separate hall dedicated to the Jizo Bodhisattva statue for visitors to observe.
The temple maintains historical grave markers and stone lanterns connected to its founder, Kuroemon Yoshioka, from the Genroku period.
