Nemunas Loops Regional Park

Nemunas Loops Regional Park is a large protected area with forests and multiple bends of the Nemunas River winding through the Lithuanian landscape. The river's curves shape the terrain, creating a varied landscape of woodland, water, and open spaces.

The park was established in 1992 to protect the river's natural bends and the forest ecosystems of the region. This decision reflected a growing commitment to safeguarding Lithuania's natural areas.
