The station forms part of the ONCF network, connecting the Mediterranean coastal region with inland destinations like Fez, Meknes, and Casablanca.
Multiple daily trains depart from the station to destinations including Fez, with a journey time of 6 hours and ticket prices starting at 13 dollars.
The railway line required extensive engineering due to elevation changes from sea level at Nador to the Rif mountains, resulting in a 1.776 million dirham investment.
