Valea Morilor Park is a large green space in Chișinău centered around a substantial lake surrounded by walking paths and recreation areas. The grounds feature sports facilities, a beach area, a children's playground, and a boat station for water activities.
The park was created in the 1950s and was originally named the Central Park of Culture and Rest. This name reflected its role during the Soviet period.
The Green Theatre provides an open-air performance space where concerts and shows happen regularly throughout the year. Visitors can experience live music and entertainment in this outdoor setting.
The park offers water activities including rowing lessons at dedicated schools and boat rentals at the station. Visitors can also find resting areas, walking paths, and spots for picnics throughout the grounds.
A notable staircase with over 200 steps connects different areas of the park and offers interesting views. This cascading structure is one of the most distinctive architectural features here.
