Fēnix, Steel wing coaster in Sevenum, Netherlands.
Fēnix stands 40 meters tall and reaches speeds of 95 km/h, featuring three inversions including a dive drop, Immelmann loop, and zero-g roll across its 813-meter track length.
Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard and opened on July 7, 2018, Fēnix became the first wing coaster in the Netherlands at a construction cost of €13 million.
The coaster draws inspiration from Celtic mythology and the phoenix legend of rebirth, fitting within Toverland's Avalon themed area that celebrates mythical creatures and ancient tales.
Riders must be between 132cm and 195cm tall, with trains accommodating 24 passengers across six cars and achieving an hourly capacity of approximately 1,000 guests.
Each train features wing-style seating where riders sit beside the track with their legs dangling freely, creating the sensation of flying like the mythical phoenix.
