Toos-Express, Indoor roller coaster in Toverland, Netherlands
Toos-Express is a steel roller coaster in the park's magical Land van Toos area, winding 320 meters through the themed zone. The yellow track with teal supports guides riders through sharp corners, helixes, and twisting hills.
The ride opened in 2001 as Achtbaan and was renamed Boomerang in 2004. It received its current name Toos-Express in 2018 as part of the park's themed area redesign.
The ride is named after Toos Toverhoed, a character from the park's magical story world, representing the daughter of a sorcerer and witch.
The ride uses a tire-propelled lift system to carry passengers up 12 meters high. Children under 90 centimeters need an adult supervisor, while riders 120 centimeters or taller can ride independently.
The ride operates with an uncommon tire-propulsion system that pulls the train upward, differing from typical chain lift mechanisms. This approach creates a distinctive motion pattern that sets the experience apart from standard coasters.
