Dwervelwind, Spinning roller coaster in Toverland, Netherlands
Dwervelwind is a steel spinning coaster at Toverland that rises 21 meters high along a 500-meter track. The ride travels at speeds of 75 kilometers per hour while four-car trains spin independently throughout the course.
This coaster was built by German manufacturer Mack Rides and opened at Toverland on September 29, 2012. It became part of the park's growing collection of attractions in southern Netherlands.
This ride sits within the Magische Vallei area, where families spend afternoons exploring together. You will see groups enjoying the rides side by side throughout the day.
Solo riders must be at least 120 centimeters tall, while children between 100 and 120 centimeters can ride with adult supervision. Check the height requirement signs at the entrance to know if you meet the minimum.
The spinning cars rotate independently during the ride, meaning weight distribution changes how each car spins. This means every trip down the track feels slightly different from the last.
