Ferber's House, Renaissance townhouse in Long Market, Gdańsk, Poland.

Ferber's House is a Renaissance townhouse in Long Market, Gdańsk, built with classical Renaissance elements. The facade displays distinct reliefs at the entrances and an ornate attic section with decorative features in the upper portion.

This residence was built during a period of maritime prosperity and belonged to the Ferber family, who produced six mayors and multiple civic leaders. The family managed to maintain influence and standing in the city across generations.

The attic displays ornate decorations featuring the coats of arms of Poland, Gdańsk, and Royal Prussia supported by unicorns, angels, and lions. These symbols reflect the wealth and status of the family who called this place home.

The building is located at Długa 77-78 near St Mary's Church and the National Maritime Museum. Its position in the city center makes it easy to access, and visitors can explore the area on foot.

The entrance reliefs depict Adam and Eve, which led locals to call this Renaissance building the House of Adam and Eve. This biblical imagery on a private residence was an unusual choice for the period.
