Lubachowski Zbiornik Wodny, Water reservoir in Gmina Walim, Poland
The Schlesiertalsperre reservoir spans 50 hectares with a curved gravity dam reaching 44 meters in height and 225 meters in length.
Built between 1912 and 1915, the reservoir required 93,000 cubic meters of stone masonry and cost 2.11 million Reichsmarks for its construction.
The reservoir and its surrounding infrastructure represent early 20th-century engineering achievements in water management and hydroelectric power generation in Lower Silesia.
The facility generates 4 million kilowatt-hours of hydroelectric power annually while maintaining a water storage capacity of 8 million cubic meters.
Three turbines receive water through an underground pipeline extending one kilometer from the reservoir to the power station.
