Mielec County

Mielec County is an administrative district in southeastern Poland comprising ten municipalities and three principal towns: Mielec, Radomyśl Wielki, and Przecław. The area combines urban centers with extensive rural lands where agriculture and manufacturing form the economic foundation.

The county was formed in 1999 during Poland's major administrative restructuring that reorganized the entire country into new regional divisions. Mielec became the administrative center of this newly created district and continued its role as a key local hub.

The region shows its industrial past through aerospace manufacturing facilities that still operate as major employers today. Rural villages maintain traditional farming practices that shape daily life and local community rhythms.
