Dolsk is a small town in the Greater Poland region positioned between two lakes, serving as the administrative center of its surrounding municipality in Śrem County. The settlement sits within a gently rolling landscape known as the Leszczyńska Uplands.
The town appeared for the first time in written records in 1136 under the authority of the Bishops of Gniezno. Administrative control later passed to the Bishops of Poznań during the 13th century.
The town contains three religious structures: St Michael's Church from 1460, the Baroque St Laurentius Church, and a wooden Holy Spirit Church from the 1600s.
