Korzkiew

Korzkiew is a village in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, positioned about 13 kilometers north of Krakow in rolling countryside. A stone castle occupies elevated ground and dominates the rural settlement's appearance.

The village developed around a 14th-century defensive fortress built during King Casimir's reign as part of a regional fortification network. This castle served a role in the medieval security structure of the region.
