House of the Scientist, Modernist residential building in Plac Grunwaldzki, Poland
The House of the Scientist reaches ten stories high and features architectural elements characteristic of Eastern European design from the 1960s period.
Constructed between 1959 and 1961, this structure emerged as the first modernist high-rise in Wroclaw during the post-World War II reconstruction phase.
The building maintains its original purpose of housing academics and researchers from the University of Science and Technology, creating an intellectual community.
