Serdeczniś, Bronze dwarf statue at Plac Grunwaldzki, Poland
The Serdeczniś statue stands among hundreds of small bronze figures scattered throughout the streets and squares of Wrocław, measuring approximately 30 centimeters in height.
This dwarf statue, installed on August 8, 2010, forms part of a larger collection that commemorates the Orange Alternative movement's resistance against communist rule in Poland.
The bronze sculpture represents one of over 350 dwarfs in Wrocław, each telling different stories about local traditions, professions, and daily life in the city.
Visitors can locate the Serdeczniś statue using the official dwarf map available at tourist information centers or through mobile applications designed for the dwarf trail.
Local sculptor Tomasz Moczek spent three months creating this bronze figure through a detailed process of sketching, molding, and casting.
