Roszek, Bronze dwarf statue near Hansel & Gretel houses in Wrocław, Poland
The bronze figure Roszek presents a small dwarf in a resting position on the ground level, measuring approximately 25 centimeters in height.
Installed on December 5, 2014, Roszek joins over 800 dwarf statues across Wrocław that commemorate the Orange Alternative movement against communist rule.
The statue represents traditional Polish krasnoludek folklore while connecting to the contemporary street art movement that defines Wrocław's urban landscape.
Visitors can locate Roszek using dedicated dwarf maps available at tourist information centers, which mark the positions of these bronze figures throughout the city.
The statue forms part of an extensive outdoor art exhibition where each dwarf maintains individual characteristics and contributes to Wrocław's walking exploration routes.
