Wały Jagiellońskie Street in Gdańsk

Wały Jagiellońskie Street extends for 460 meters through downtown Gdańsk, forming part of national road 91 and incorporating both vehicle and tram lanes.

The street emerged from the merger of two roads designed by German urban planner Jacob Stübben in 1897, with the northern section called Elisabethwall and southern Dominikswall.

The New Town Hall at number 1 stands as a governmental center, housing the City Council of Gdańsk in a building that combines administrative functions with historical architecture.

The street features numerous banking facilities, including PKO BP and BNP Paribas branches, along with multiple ATMs and direct access to public transportation stations.

The St. Elizabeth Bastion, constructed in 1554 as part of city fortifications, will transform into a conference center with an integrated brewery.
