Our Lady of Częstochowa and Saint Clemens church in Zakopane

The church features a two-part nave with a chancel, incorporating traditional wooden construction methods using larch trees throughout its structure.

Founded in 1847 by Klementyna Homolacsowa, the church underwent expansion between 1850 and 1851 with the addition of a southern part and tower.

The interior displays numerous folk paintings and sculptures created by highland artists, including works by sculptor Wojciech Kulach-Wawrzyńcok in the 19th century.

Located at Kościeliska Street 4 in Zakopane, the church welcomes visitors from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM and permits photography inside.

A painting of Saint Paul falling from his horse stands among the decorative elements, accompanied by feretories and bas-reliefs reflecting regional art.
