The Church of St. Barbara exhibits red brick construction with a clock tower topped by a conical roof and features stained glass windows.
Construction of the church began in 1852, with the tower completed in 1859, followed by an expansion project in 1894 designed by Paul Jackisch.
The church received a painting of Saint Barbara in 1853, donated by coal miners from the König mine, reflecting the strong connection to mining traditions.
The parish office operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 to 11:00 and 15:00 to 17:00, with Friday hours from 8:00 to 11:00.
The church holds relics of the Holy Cross and saints Aloysius Gonzaga, Stanislaus Kostka, and Thérèse of Lisieux.
