Saint Bartholomew church in Morawica

Saint Bartholomew Church features a three-nave layout with Gothic origins and combines architectural elements from different periods of construction and renovation.

The church, designed by architect Francesco Placidi, was established in 1743 and underwent substantial modifications during the following decades of the 18th century.

The interior contains numerous decorative elements from the second half of the 18th century, including medallion portraits of persons connected to the church history.

Visitors interested in exploring the church need to arrange their visit in advance through the parish office to gain access to the building.

This religious structure stands as the only preserved wooden church in Poland with a Gothic-origin three-nave interior configuration.
