Construction of this sanctuary began in June 2012 and ended with its consecration on May 18, 2016, coinciding with Pope John Paul II's birthday. The completion represented an important moment for the local Catholic community and its architectural vision.

The Memory Chapel here honors Polish individuals who risked their lives to protect Jewish people during World War II, with their names inscribed on the walls. This space reflects how the local community remembers acts of courage and solidarity from the past.

The church is open for visits outside of service times, though religious ceremonies may limit access to certain areas during scheduled hours. The site has adequate parking and clear signage making it easy for visitors to navigate the grounds.

The altar here is an exact replica of Pope John Paul II's private chapel from the Vatican, built with authentic design elements from the original. This replica makes the space distinctive for pilgrims who feel a connection to the late pope.
