The museum was established in 2000 through the initiative of Jan Kłodziński with support from the Polish Movement of Friends of Indians. This founding made it possible to preserve and present North American indigenous heritage to the public.
The museum displays everyday objects, traditional clothing, and ceremonial items from various Native American tribes, reflecting their customs and ways of life. The collection offers insight into the material culture and craftsmanship traditions of these peoples.
The facility offers guided tours in Polish and English along with informational materials for visitors. Accommodations, a restaurant, and a stud farm with horseback riding activities are available on site.
The site combines the museum with an active stud farm, allowing visitors to experience traditional horseback riding. This blend of museum and recreational facility creates a living interpretation of equestrian cultures.
