Vistulan Boulevards in Warsaw, Riverside promenade in Warsaw, Poland
The Vistulan Boulevards extend for almost 6 kilometers along the left bank of the Vistula River, offering walking paths and cycling routes through three distinct sections.
Following World War II, the Vistula riverfront remained inaccessible until 2013, when a major revitalization project began to reconnect Warsaw with its waterway.
Each of the three sections, named after Jan Karski, George Patton, and Flotylla Wislana, presents different social environments from quiet cafes to evening entertainment venues.
Visitors can reach the boulevards through Centrum Nauki Kopernik metro station or by taking a 20-minute walk from the Royal Route in central Warsaw.
The western shore features developed recreational areas and dining facilities, while the eastern bank maintains natural sandy beaches along the Vistula River.
