Palace in Trzebieszowice

The Palace in Trzebieszowice is a Renaissance structure built on a rocky riverside bank, distinguished by its symmetrical form and detailed ornamental details. Its construction combines stone walls with traces of earlier wooden elements from its 15th-century origins.

The site began as a defensive stone-and-wood structure in the 15th century before the von Reichenbach family transformed it into a Renaissance manor house. In the early 20th century, the Chamarè-Harbuval family added modern comforts and an enclosed courtyard with tropical plantings.

The grand staircase with its wooden panels blends Renaissance and neo-baroque styles, serving as a focal point that reflects how the building evolved over time. Today, visitors walk through spaces shaped by different families and periods, each leaving their mark on the rooms and decorations.
