The parish establishment occurred in 1409 by Benko of Żabokruki, who served as district governor of Przemyśl, Sanok, and Halicz regions.
The interior walls display paintings created in 1932 by Włodzimierz Lisowski from Sanok, adding artistic elements to the religious space.
Located 200 meters from the Rzeszów-Sanok road, the church requires advance telephone arrangements for interior visits throughout the year.
The ceiling beams contain Renaissance paintings from the fifteenth century, discovered during a structural inspection in 2002.
