Saint Stanislaus church in Humniska is a wooden structure built with logs on stone foundations and board cladding reinforced by metal bands throughout. The building combines rustic construction with durable reinforcement details.
The parish was founded in 1409 when Benko of Żabokruki, a regional governor, established the ecclesiastical institution. This foundation marked the beginning of religious life at this location.
The interior paintings date to 1932 and showcase the work of artist Włodzimierz Lisowski from Sanok. These artworks connect the religious space with local creative traditions.
The building is located about 200 meters from the main Rzeszów-Sanok road and is easy to reach. Visitors should call ahead to arrange access to the interior.
The ceiling beams contain Renaissance paintings from the 15th century that were discovered during a structural inspection in 2002. These hidden artistic layers reveal how much history is embedded in the building.
