Church of the Transfiguration in Brzozów, Late Baroque parish church in Brzozów, Poland.
The Church of the Transfiguration is a late Baroque structure with three naves, two towers, and several chapels throughout its interior. The decoration inside shows Baroque and Rococo furnishings and details.
Construction began in 1676 under Bishop Stanisław Sarnowski and was completed in 1686 as the main structure. The 18th century saw the addition of towers, side aisles, and new chapels.
The church houses a revered image of Our Lady of Consolation, which survived a fire that destroyed an earlier temple on this site. This image draws visitors seeking spiritual comfort and prayer.
The church remains active with regular services for the local Catholic community. Visitors should dress respectfully and be considerate during any ongoing religious ceremonies.
Next to the church stands an 18th-century bell tower connected to a cloister building that once served the Manners College. Together these structures form a remarkable religious architectural ensemble.
