Hotel Kosmos w Toruniu, Former Orbis hotel in Toruń, Poland.
The four-story Hotel Kosmos contained 78 rooms initially, later reduced to 59 rooms, with dining facilities on the ground floor.
Opened in 1969 as part of the state-owned Orbis chain, the hotel operated until 2007 before its demolition in 2008.
The hotel rooms featured the characteristic 366 armchair design by Józef Chierowski, representing Polish modernist furniture of the 1960s.
Each room included a private bathroom, telephone service, and the restaurant maintained regular deliveries of Żywiec beer.
The neon sign of Hotel Kosmos remained after demolition and became part of the Skyway Festival in 2009.
