Spa Park in Głuchołazy

The park emerged in the late 1800s when Głuchołazy developed into a health resort using cold water therapy methods based on Vincent Priessnitz's approach. These medical practices shaped the park's purpose from its beginning.

A protected bat colony with over 100 specimens lives in a single attic within the park, leading to the establishment of a special conservation zone. This unusual colony size at one location makes the park an important refuge for these animals.
