The observation tower and mountain shelter on Przednia Kopa consists of a stone tower and a shelter building situated in the Jesenik Mountains. The facility is located at approximately 496 meters elevation where several hiking paths converge.
The tower was built in 1898 by the Głuchołazy Promenade Society under the name Hohenzollernwarte. The shelter building was added later as the site developed into a popular mountain destination.
The site's name refers to its position as the front peak in the local mountain range. Visitors still gather here today to take in the views and enjoy a pause during their mountain walks.
The site can be reached from several hiking trails and serves as a rest point for mountain walkers. Visitors should prepare for changing mountain weather and bring appropriate gear for their visit.
After World War Two, military authorities ordered significant changes to the tower's height. This modification remains a defining feature of the structure as it stands today.
