Sanctuary in Ciężkowice

The Sanctuary in Ciężkowice is a Gothic Revival church featuring pointed arches and detailed stone carvings throughout its exterior and interior. The structure displays vertical lines and elaborate decorative elements that characterize its design.

The structure was completed in 1902 by architect Jan Sas Zubrzycki, replacing an earlier wooden building that had stood on the site since 1358. This development represents a shift from the older to a modern church architecture in the region.
